ART PROMPTS: Weekly Creative Challenge /5
Are you ready to join a fun art challenge?
Art prompts is here to kick start and unblock your creativity, with one prompt and one constraint to get you back creating and having fun. The creative prompt is there for a starting point with the idea to approach the challenge freely. It’s aimed at artists but is open to any creatives (musicians, writers, makers) the more the merrier. I’ll post new prompts via my insta (@spirityou) or through my newsletter (sign up at bottom of this page). I encourage everyone to share their creations using the hashtag #syartprompts
I can’t wait to connect and see what you come up with 🙂
Let’s all inspire each other to create better art!
Prompt /5: Draw and Object within Arms Reach
This week’s creative challenge idea is to draw something within hands reach. This challenge is especially good for those lockdown kids!
CONSTRAINT: change your go-to art supply
Push yourself to use an art supply that isn’t your normal go-to.
Ideas to use instead: biro, pencil, coloured pencils, markers, pastels, chalk, gouache, watercolour, ink, ink pen, acrylics, oil, charcoal….the list goes on!
It doesn’t matter what you use, it just matters that you use something different.
My EXAMPLE
Since we’ve hit winter here in Australia, the heater beside me has been switched on and my dog is now permanently within arms reach to make sure she gets prime heater position 🙂 I normally use an ink brush pen so this week I challenged myself to use coloured pencils but boy was it hard not to add in some ink!!
Your next step is to go forth and create, then share it via insta using the #syartprompts tag.
New prompts are sent out via my newsletter (which you can sign up for below)
